From Charlottenlund to Nørrebro:
After a quick breakfast at the camp site we rode our bikes towards the city. We really enjoyed the wide cycleways and were surprised about how quickly we reached Nørrebro. We stumbled upon a flea market and some nice shops but didn’t buy anything. Instead we were looking for visual inspiration and more importantly for soaking up the positive vibes of the outdoor life in this sunny city.
… to Frederiksberg:
As we got thirsty for coffee, we decided to look for the Coffee Collective roastery in Frederiksberg. A very nice and calm place with a lovely atmosphere a bit outside of the city.
… to Vesterbro:
Next we drove though the streets of Vesterbro. We found a very tiny hotel with only one room. And a nice street next to the meatpacking district with lots of people sitting outside and a long wall with photogenic street art. For lunch we sat down in the sun at a yummy vietnamese place at Vesterbrogade.
… to the city center:
There were so many inviting places by the water, where the people could sit, play, relax and eat ice cream. Everyone was just enjoying this great spring weekend. Of course we also had to take a quick stroll through the shopping streets. I love the HAY house for it’s lovely building and the view across Amagertorv, even if I am not a big fan of the HAY hype.
… back to Vesterbro:
We decided to have pizza for dinner and drove back to Verstbro’s meatpacking district. We loved to explore that area once again but left too early to experience the actual nightlife there. But we preferred to drive home and have enough sleep to start the third day well rested.
